Oh the places you will go... I mean puke!

Warning, this may be a little gross.  I am writing this for me so when my babes ask me, I can remember!

When I was pregnant with Annabelle, these are some of the highlights of morning sickness:

  • Dallas was on some antibiotics and would throw up every morning for about a week or so.  One morning, Dallas and I were puking at the same time in the bathroom.  Frank rolled over and said, I need a new family.
  • In the car, in a bowl on the way home from a friends house.
  • At my parents house, in the hall bathroom.  Everyone heard.
  • At work, every day.  I would come back with eyes blood shot and sweating.  Let me spell ATTRACTIVE.
  • Trying to do the dishes.  There was a dish in the sink that had been there for a few days.  I had asked frank to do this for me since I knew that it would make me sick.  He did not believe me.  So while he was in the shower I started to tackle it.  I think that it made me puke 3 different times.
  • Then there were the everyday instances that were in the malls, restaurants, etc.  Needless to say, I always knew where the nearest exit or restroom was.

Highlights for Baby Robertson #2 (so far):
  • Changing diapers.  Everyday I either gag or puke.
  • In the car while driving.  Filled up a cup... ewww!
  • Cooking.
  • Getting up at night to use the restroom that turned into a puking session.
  • Getting out of the shower.
  • Eating dinner at P.F. Chang's with the family to celebrate a birthday.

So there you have it.  Sorry if it was too gross.  I think that it's rather funny.  Happy Monday!

this and that

So I realized that I haven't blogged in a few weeks.  There is a few reason's why.  But mostly, I can't stand looking at my blog because it makes me gag.  It's true.  The thought of ginger right now makes me gag.  Frank likes to talk about it just to see it happen.  Why ginger you ask??  Because I'm preggers... again!

When I was pregnant with AB, it was eggs and chicken.  Totally grossed me out.  Now it is ginger and chicken again.  Frank wants a caesar salad this week for dinner and I can not do chicken.  I was going to pick it up at the grocery store but when I was in the meat section I started to get queasy.  I grabbed some bacon and that will have to do!

I'm 7 1/2 weeks pregnant.  Baby #2 is scheduled to arrive late September.  September 24th to be exact.  To remind you, AB was born on the 16th.

On the lighter note...
AB had her 4 month check up yesterday.  Here are her stats:
She weights 15.34 lbs (90th percentile).
She is 25 and 3/4 inches long (90th percentile).

Solids are going great and I believe that squash and apples are the sweet ladies favorites.  She is loving all the new things that she can do.
This am, Frank snuck in her room to get the dirty diaper and take them to the trash.  She found her laying the opposite way that we lay her.  In her travels, she had taken 2 paci's with her (really weird, because she won't put it in her mouth on her own yet).  Her aunt Emily gave her a teddy bear for Christmas and it's in the far corner.  She has reached that and pulled it across her and was holding onto the leg and just chatting up a storm.  About an hour later, I went in to wake her up and start the day.  She was still laying there with the bear but sound asleep.  Oh AB, you make me laugh!
